Usage:


Simply adjust your settings from the setting icon       of the button and press Export. If you don't know much about settings please keep it at default.

Settings:

Default Settings:

SelectedLOD: 0

ExportSettings: All Ticked


SelectedLOD :: LOD that will be exported.


ExportSettings :: Meshes that will be in the export list.

 

Important Notes:

Final step in maya is to export our custom Metahuman to Unreal Engine. Export function exports everything inside head and body grp.

Exported file will be .FBX file and it will be exported to c:/dna_calibration/output folder as head.fbx and body.fbx files.

Before click on export button make sure you made the setup of
fbx export settings.





























Under Geometry tab of settings,

Enable only:


    Tangents and Bionormals
    Preserve Instances
    Reference Assets Content


Under Deformed Models, Check

    Deformed Models
    Skins
    Blendshapes


Under Animation,

    Turn off Animation

Under Advanced options:

    Set Axis Conversion Up Axis as Y Up.

    Set FBX file format as Binary FBX 2020
